Touch Germ Block sells a sanitizing continuous spray proven to kill 99.99% of disease-causing germs for up to 6 hours with most of their sales being driven directly by their website and organic search traffic. They sell many different variations of this product and came to the digital media firm I worked for, wanting to start selling subscription/recurring versions of their spray products, but without the know-how of this type of e-commerce optimization within their WordPress site. I was able to set up these subscription products with a free add-on and some custom PHP code in their original online store to capture this new recurring revenue stream. I was also able to optimize the customer experience on their shopping cart by removing one of the cart’s purchase events.

Work Completed: Restructured their main product, an anti-bacterial body spray consisting of many different product options and variations of the same product, into a single product page with a simpler user interface and checkout flow.
Final Results: Added subscription functionality, creating a new passive revenue stream. Removed 1 entire step from the customer’s e-commerce experience, updating the checkout from 4 steps, to a simple 3-step process, increasing conversion rates.
