A Private Affair A Private Affair is a brick & mortar store selling women’s intimate apparel located in Southern California. The owner was looking for someone to create a responsive, mobile-friendly design with SEO expertise to create a new, fast, SEO-friendly website. Their goals were to decrease website loading times and increase page speed scores with a beautiful design. I put together a mockup for the new website design, a list of potential areas for improvement regarding SEO, and corresponding strategies to help accomplish their specific search ranking goals. Several weeks later, the new website was launched on a new, faster web server, improved technical SEO with respect to image loading, and a mobile-friendly design. This new design featured a simpler user workflow to quickly direct customers to their products with local SEO improvement to bring more customers into their brick-and-mortar store locations.

Work Completed: Purchased domain, set up hosting, and created the company’s new website focused on the client’s preferences. Implemented an SSL seal/encryption to secure the site and increase website rankings as well as set up the Google Analytics code for tracking users. Continued work on the website throughout my employment which included on-page and off-page SEO work as well as updating monthly advertisements on the website.
Final Result: The new website is the perfect combination of a beautiful, image-heavy website with a fast, easy-to-use interface, well-optimized for SEO.
